  The movie was about a postman who read some Japanese letters that he didn’t send. The letter was about the love between a Japanese man and a Taiwanese lady.

  I thought the movie was very boring and ordinary. Before I saw this movie, many people discussed it on the Internet. They said it was touching. But after I saw it, I found it not as attractive as people said. For example, people liked the director’s expression about Taiwanese culture and friendship, but I thought it was just like our normal life and nothing special. Furthermore, there were too many characters, but some of those characters were not special and important. I felt confused with too many characters. For example, the hotel cleaner, a mother of a single-parent family, was not so significant because she had nothing to do with the movie contents. I even thought that she was a passerby.

So I thought what people said was not always right. The best-selling movie might not be the best.
