Dear Joyce,
I was very astonished when I heard you want to make a boyfriend. In fact, I disagree to make a boyfriend when we are a senior school student.
Having a boyfriend maybe be very happy or sweet, but it often cause many problems. For example, when you are in love with somebody, you will spend a lot of time together instead of studying or accompanying your family and other friends. Besides, you may also spend plenty of money on dates and paying many phone bills. Think about that, as a student, our money comes from our parents. And if he continues spending the money, it will increase the financial pressure on his parents.
As teenagers, our mentality isn’t as mature as an adult, and we may act impulsively. Why not wait until we go to college, and have more experiences treating people? Until then our mentality will become more mature, the romance will be happier, sweeter and more harmonious. I hope you can think twice before you decide.
Yours,
Ivy
