A memorable event in my life  508 30 蔡旻螢

Six years ago, an event happened and has affected me till now. I have a cousin. We lived in the same house and studied together. She is not only my close relative but also my best friend.

Unfortunately, she got very sick when she just 10 and soon passed away. I couldn’t believe it. At the mean time, I felt all happiness went away with her death. From then on, I lived every boring day alone.

One day, however, when I cleaned her room, I found an article about her ambition to be a teacher. I couldn’t help crying at that time, because her life was so short that she couldn’t achieve her dream. Due to the reason, I will study harder and try to complete her unfinished goal. A I will keep her in my mind forever.

A memorable event in my life      50816 林倩如

The memorable event happened two years ago.  The day was the founding anniversary of my junior high school.  We had a relay race that day, and I was one of the players in my class.

It was my turn, I received the relay baton and ran after the player in front of me.  I ran as fast as I could.  Finally, I caught up with her, and passed her.  I handed the relay baton to the next player.  Suddenly, I fell down, and my elbow was bleeding.

I was sent to the hospital.  The doctor said my scar was too large so that I had to have a surgery.  Ten minutes later, the surgery was finished.  I regretted that I was too proud of myself.

The accident taught me one thing, “If you are successful in something, don’t be proud.”  With such a lesson in my life, I will do everything humble.

A memorable event in my life 508 19 張醴元

On that day, I got anxious, afraid and mad with joy. When l was ten years old, my family took me to Yellowstone National Park on the U.S.A. in the summer vacation. Its size was about one-fourth of Taiwan so my parents reminded me to follow the guide. However, the shocking scenery surprised me so much that l almost forgot what my mom said. My brother and I also wanted to but some souvenirs so both of us went to a store.

Strangely, when we came back from the shop, all the people disappeared. We cried put but nobody heard. Both of us were very nervous like ants on a hot pan. I stayed by the shop with my brother. I even dreamed that we could die there. One hour passed away, and we saw a person walking to us. That was the guide!

By virtue of the experience, now I often think before doing. I also learn that when I get lost, stand at the original place. Calm down, and don’t be nervous. By the way, the love between my brother and me is much closer.

A memorable event in my life      508 03 劉偉皓

It was a basketball contest. We practiced and discussed constantly a few days ago. After our discussion and analysis. We started to have the confidence to win the game. So we became much proud and didn’t practice hard.

The day the match arrived. We were in the lead by eleven points at the beginning; however, we lost the contest by four points finally.

We have to face with the rivals and competitions more seriously then and from now. Otherwise, we too underestimate the enemies and we will come to no good end.

Ten years ago, I was am elementary student.  I had difficulty getting up early and often went to school late.

One day, I was late and missed the first class.  My mom decided to give me an experience so she made me walk to school by myself.  When I walk in the street, I was very sad because I was scared of walking in the street by myself.  At this time, a car stopped beside me and the driver said that he could drive me to school.  If I had been smart, I couldn’t have agreed.  Fortunately, the driver really drove me to school instead of abducting me.

The memorable event usually reminds me that most people are friendly and please to help everyone.  I should learn the behavior.  For example, I start to give my seat to elder people on the bus.  I’m so glad I can help people who need.

One morning, my family and my mother’s friends went to the Snow Mountain.  We went there for the first time.  I remember it was a sunny day.  We walked along a small path, and I saw many trees and squirrels.  I felt relaxed because of the fresh air.

However, within a short time, the weather became worse.  It rained but we didn’t carry umbrellas.  The fog got thicker and thicker.  We didn’t wear enough clothes so we shivered.  Because we went there for the first time, we didn’t know which road we should choose.  We felt nervous and feared that we couldn’t go back home.  We kept walking and fortunately went back the parking lots.

After this event, I think I should make complete plans before taking every trip.  Without plans, I may easily get lost, or even meet something unexpected.

A memorable event happened in my class in my ninth grade. On Sunday, I was in good class that focus on my studies. When I finished the Chinese class, a friend ran to me and seriously told me that one of my classmates passed away. At that time, I though she was just joking.

After I got home, I heard the bad news on the phone. I couldn't believe that my classmate died of a car accident. The next day, all my classmates cried sadly.

After the thing, I understood that all my classmate, my friends, my family and the people that around me was valuable. I have made a change more caring of them and treating them friendly. I wouldn't want to lose one of them any more.

A Memorable Event in My Life

I won’t forget the time that I took care of my younger brother in the hospital. At the summer time when I was 13, my 4 year-old little brother had a bad illness about throat. Because my mother was so busy in her work that I had to take her place to attend the little brother.

This experience was special to me. Children at this age were often naughty and energetic. When he moved heedlessly, I must notice if the blood in pipe has flowed backwards; and when he felt boring, I would take him for a walk. I never did these things before he got sick.

I should to bear the responsibility because I am the first child in my family. If my mother wasn’t busy that time, I would never realize what the eldest daughter’s status stand for.

My most memorable event happened when I was twelve. That year Mother was pregnant. The moment when I heard the news, I was shocked and wondered – will Mother and Father not love me anymore I was afraid and didn’t know how to tell my parents my worries. So I became to hate the baby who wasn't even born yet. I seldom talked to my parents and got angry at trifles.

One night Mother couldn’t handle my anger anymore. We had a serious quarrel. I was so sad that Mother didn’t understand me, and then I ran out of the house to a park near by house. It was a really dark place with many homeless people. I felt helpless and hid myself in a bush. When I saw my parents cars circling around, I still didn’t go out of the bush.

After about an hour, I couldn’t stand it anymore because I missed them so much and it was so cold. When Mother’s car passed the bush, I ran out and shouted, “Mother, I’m here.” Suddenly, the car stopped. Mother got out of her car. I thought she was going to punish me, but I didn’t care. All I wanted was going back to her. To my surprise, she didn’t hit me or scold me. She just hugged me tightly .

After that night, I realized how stupid I am to doubt my parents’ love.

When I was six years old, the most unforgettable event happened. One evening, father drove my sister and I to an art class where was far from our house. After he left, we rang the doorbell, but no one answered.

My sister knocked the next door immediately. A lady came out and told us there was no class that day. I called home many times, but it was no reply. We had no choice but to walk home on foot.

We walked, walked, and walked. Suddenly, I tumbled and hurt my knees. My sister quickly pulled me up and even carried me on her back. Finally we went home, but my sister had a very high fever and was sent to the hospital for two weeks.

My heart filled with thankfulness and shame, I had never noticed how much love my sister gave to me. The only thing I knew was arguing with her. Complaining everything she had done for me and asked unreasonable demands for her. But now I eventually understood she always took good care of me and protected me so much.  I cried and apologized to my sister. From then on, there was nothing between my sister and I. She let me learned how to love and forgive.
