A memorable event happened in my class in my ninth grade. On Sunday, I was in good class that focus on my studies. When I finished the Chinese class, a friend ran to me and seriously told me that one of my classmates passed away. At that time, I though she was just joking.

After I got home, I heard the bad news on the phone. I couldn't believe that my classmate died of a car accident. The next day, all my classmates cried sadly.

After the thing, I understood that all my classmate, my friends, my family and the people that around me was valuable. I have made a change more caring of them and treating them friendly. I wouldn't want to lose one of them any more.

Attending an English speech contest is a memorable event in my life.  It was when I was a ten-year-old child .The teacher asked me to give a speech onstage.  When I first stood on the stage and faced the whole class,I felt sick and stammered out only a few words.

Because of the bad experience, many classmates usually made fun of me. It made me upsethowever,in order to change my classmatesviews, I decided to join an English speech contest.

The offense inspired my ideal. From then on, I practiced speaking in front of the dolls in my room every day. Not until I conquered the fear did I stop.

After a lot of efforts,I finally stood on the stage again. But this time, I felt at home when I gave a speech to a large number of audience.

Eventually, I won the second place. When I got the certificate onstage with enthusiastic applause, I thought it was a memorable moment in my life.

A Memorable Event in My Life

I won’t forget the time that I took care of my younger brother in the hospital. At the summer time when I was 13, my 4 year-old little brother had a bad illness about throat. Because my mother was so busy in her work that I had to take her place to attend the little brother.

This experience was special to me. Children at this age were often naughty and energetic. When he moved heedlessly, I must notice if the blood in pipe has flowed backwards; and when he felt boring, I would take him for a walk. I never did these things before he got sick.

I should to bear the responsibility because I am the first child in my family. If my mother wasn’t busy that time, I would never realize what the eldest daughter’s status stand for.

In my childhood, my parents were usually busy. I only knew that they sold children’s clothes in traditional market. I didn’t understand why they were busy until I was ten years old.

One day, I was informed that I would go to work with my parents. We went to work at 5:00a.m. The market was noisy and dirty. I saw my parents greeted the customers and picked clothes for them. We finished our work at 4:00p.m. Before we went to home, my father asked me to fold all of the clothes. After I finished the work, my hands were very sore. I can’t even move my arms all three days.

That day, I really understood that it was a laborious task. No matter how the weather was, my parents still had to do it the whole year. They usually felt exhausted due to the tiring work. I hoped that I could be independent so that they would spend less time on me and have much time to rest. Because of the experience, I learned that we should listen to our parents’ words and didn’t let them worry about us.

My most memorable event happened when I was twelve. That year Mother was pregnant. The moment when I heard the news, I was shocked and wondered – will Mother and Father not love me anymore I was afraid and didn’t know how to tell my parents my worries. So I became to hate the baby who wasn't even born yet. I seldom talked to my parents and got angry at trifles.

One night Mother couldn’t handle my anger anymore. We had a serious quarrel. I was so sad that Mother didn’t understand me, and then I ran out of the house to a park near by house. It was a really dark place with many homeless people. I felt helpless and hid myself in a bush. When I saw my parents cars circling around, I still didn’t go out of the bush.

After about an hour, I couldn’t stand it anymore because I missed them so much and it was so cold. When Mother’s car passed the bush, I ran out and shouted, “Mother, I’m here.” Suddenly, the car stopped. Mother got out of her car. I thought she was going to punish me, but I didn’t care. All I wanted was going back to her. To my surprise, she didn’t hit me or scold me. She just hugged me tightly .

After that night, I realized how stupid I am to doubt my parents’ love.

A memorable event in my life      魏懿容

My class in junior high school was filled with cunning people, and they hurt me a lot. Then I decided to close myself instead of trusting others.

After going to senior high school, I chose to remain cold and not showing my true emotion forever. But my new classmates were friendly and had a lot of passion, and their attitude touched my heart and I began to think whether what I did was wrong or right. Finally, I fully opened my heart to everyone, because I realized that it is impossible to live alone without contacting others.

Now when I go to a new place or attend a new party, I am no longer afraid of making friends. It is my new classmates taught me that I can’t act like a frog living in its own well and also one of the most valuable treasures in my life.

When I was six years old, the most unforgettable event happened. One evening, father drove my sister and I to an art class where was far from our house. After he left, we rang the doorbell, but no one answered.

My sister knocked the next door immediately. A lady came out and told us there was no class that day. I called home many times, but it was no reply. We had no choice but to walk home on foot.

We walked, walked, and walked. Suddenly, I tumbled and hurt my knees. My sister quickly pulled me up and even carried me on her back. Finally we went home, but my sister had a very high fever and was sent to the hospital for two weeks.

My heart filled with thankfulness and shame, I had never noticed how much love my sister gave to me. The only thing I knew was arguing with her. Complaining everything she had done for me and asked unreasonable demands for her. But now I eventually understood she always took good care of me and protected me so much.  I cried and apologized to my sister. From then on, there was nothing between my sister and I. She let me learned how to love and forgive.

A memorable event in my life          王宜璇

In my second year of junior high school, our school held a cheer squad contest.  We have to choreograph by ourselves, and competed with 23 classes.  At first, our class wasn’t active.  However, as the contest approached, we started paying attention to exercise frequently.

Finally, the day of contest came, but something unexpected happened.  When we stood on the stage, the music played before we were ready.  We had no choice but to start. At that time, all of us though that we failed.  However, to our surprise, we won’t fourth prize in the end.  We jumped up with joy.

Perhaps most people think that winning the prize is very glorious, but for me, the value is not winning the prize.  Instead, the time I spent with my classmate, is the most valuable and memorable in my life.

My Ambition  508 37 謝季澄

In ten years, I want my bookshelf to be filled with novels.  I love to read novels very much, so I want to collect all novels which attract me deeply.

I like fantastic novels.  For example, my favorite novels are "The Lord of the Rings" and" Harry Potter".  These novels always include the war between goodness and evilness.  The characters standing by goodness will struggle with the evil races, and win the war at the end of the story.  Anyway, I won't live without fictions.
